1. Attend Great Pumpkin Luminights
One of the best ways to celebrate Halloween in Pigeon Forge is by attending the Great Pumpkin Luminights! This spectacular event is part of Dollywood’s popular Harvest Festival and features thousands of jack-o-lanterns glowing at night! As you stroll through the park, you will discover larger-than-life pumpkin displays, including a glowing 40-foot-tall pumpkin tree! This is also the perfect chance to sample some of the theme park’s delicious fall treats and enjoy some lighthearted “not so spooky” entertainment!
2. Play the Haunted Cabin Escape Room at Trapped
Enjoy spooky season by playing the Haunted Cabin Escape Room at Trapped! If you are new to escape rooms, it is a themed interactive game where your team of family and friends has 60 minutes to solve clues and successfully escape from the room! The Haunted Cabin Escape Room places you within a “cabin” that is haunted by the ghost of Old Man Ramsay, who comes back every hour to protect his moonshine recipe! Your job is to steal his secret recipe before his ghost returns!
3. Go to a Haunted House
If you don’t consider Halloween complete without a visit to a haunted house, you are in luck! Pigeon Forge is home to Outbreak: Dread the Undead, a zombie-themed haunted house attraction with live actors! Your adventure begins in the Chemacorp Laboratory, where a closed-circuit broadcast informs you of a military experiment gone wrong! It turns out that all of the technicians and test subjects have been turned into aggressive zombies, so it’s up to you to make it out alive!
