The attraction also features the Ski Lift Shootout Coaster, North America’s first alpine flyer, and the Avalanche Snow Coaster, a mountain coaster that puts you in control of your speed. NASCAR SpeedPark is located in neighboring Sevierville and has numerous go-kart tracks of all shapes and sizes suitable for every age. They have fat oval tracks, road tracks, slick tracks, and more along with numerous rides and an arcade. It’s next to The Tanger Outlet Mall, which makes this a fantastic thing to do while other family and friends go shopping!
Lost Treasure Golf is located about halfway down the Pigeon Forge Parkway and is unique in that it features a “mine train” that takes you around their two miniature golf courses and up a hill to hole #1 where you then play your way down. There are all sorts of obstacles on each hole, and the two courses are completely different.
This fun mini golf course is located in neighboring Sevierville just past the Pigeon Forge line. It has 3 different 18-hole courses featuring all sorts of animated barnyard characters, water features, and interactive elements. It's an extremely popular course for children as well as adults and a great place to have some fun if some of your family or friends plan to do some shopping at the Tanger Outlets next door! There is also an arcade where you can cool off or warm up depending on the season.
The Comedy Barn is one of the best shows in Pigeon Forge for people of any age with its variety of clean comedy, live music, dancing, adorable animals, ventriloquists, and so much more. There is quite a bit of audience participation, making every show unique and hilarious. This highly entertaining show features live music, dancing, comedy, and more in an award-winning show that seems to get better each year. One of the Pigeon Forge shows you definitely don’t want to miss is Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud! You’ll get to see a real lumberjack competition between two feuding families, with axe throwing, chopping, sawing, speed climbing, and log rolling. There is even a chance for audience participation and a special intermission event just for kids! The BBQ camp supper will satisfy the hungriest of guests, with a menu inspired by Paula herself.
Dolly Parton’s Stampede is the original dinner show in Pigeon Forge. The four-course feast is delicious, and the show features highly skilled equestrians, stunning musical productions, and breathtaking aerial acts! It’s a fun experience for the whole family and is something in the Smokies that you should do at least once!
The Hatfield & McCoy dinner show has quickly become one of the most popular dinner shows in Pigeon Forge for its variety of live music, comedy, and tasty food. It is loosely based on the infamous feud between the Hatfield and McCoy families and provides an entertaining look at “Appalachian life” with some incredibly talented musicians and dancers.
Wear Farm Park is a beautiful city park that features basketball courts, baseball fields, a batting cage, a football field, a covered picnic pavilion, a playground, walking trails, and more! This is a great place to get some exercise or even let kids burn off some energy…for free!
This new trail has become very popular with locals as it provides a peaceful walk along the river near the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. It’s about a 2.5-mile trail that connects The Island with Patriot Park and the Old Mill. What we suggest is starting at one end, walking to the other for lunch, and then walking back. If you walk to the Old Mill, we suggest lunch at The Old Mill Pottery House Café & Grille. If you walk to The Island, then try Timberwood Grill!
Patriot Park is located behind The Old Mill, just off the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. It features a walking trail with flags from all 50 states, along with flags of each branch of our nation’s armed forces. There is also a Patriot Missile on display! You have access to a covered picnic pavilion, gazebo, and benches along the river. Patriot Park is also the location of the Pigeon Forge Trolley hub.
