When Does Dollywood Open In 2026?

Dollywood’s opening day for the 2026 season will be March 13th from 10 am – 7 pm. While their opening day hardly ever changes once announced, we still always recommend checking with Dollywood before you make your vacation plans and reservations just in case!

What Is New At Dollywood In 2026?

Dollywood will feature fan-favorite festivals as well as numerous new offerings such as:

  • Dollywood will open their largest investment in a single ride, NightFlight Expedition, with a cost of more than $50M! Get full details on this groundbreaking new ride in our NightFlight Expedition post.
  • The innaugural Dollywood Run Race Weekend will feature multiple race categories for a run through Dollywood in late April.
  • The Harvest Festival will feature a brand new, separately ticketed nighttime event called Harvey's Boo Bash.

Festivals and Events at Dollywood in 2026

  • “I Will Always Love You Celebration” is scheduled to take place March 13th – April 12th. This event celebrates Dolly’s popular hit, “I Will Always Love You” and features unique festival dining and merchandise.
  • Flower & Food Festival returns on April 18th – June 7th featuring culinary creations along with multiple, iconic Mosaiculture displays.
  • Run Dollywood Race Weekend - This innaugural race will be held April 25-26 and features everything from a fun-filled kids' run to exciting 5K, 10K, and half marathon courses through Dollywood Theme Park.
  • Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration kicks off June 15th – August 2nd with nightly drone and fireworks show, and the return of the guest-favorite shows: Gazillion Bubble Show and Perondi’s Stunt Dog Experience!
  • Harvest Festival will take place September 14th – October 31st featuring the popular Hoot Owl Hollow glowing display, Great Pumpkin LumiNights, delicious food, and more. This year will introduce a new dance party with upbeat music, dazzling lights and a festive autumn atmosphere. Rivertown and Market Square areas of the park will transform into Apple Jack’s Market.
  • Harvey’s Boo Bash - This brand new, separately tickets event will take place on October 16, 23, and 30 from 9pm - midnight. It will feature several exclusive activities and offerings just for these guests, including a number of candy collecting stations and access to many of Dollywood’s award-winning attractions.
  • Smoky Mountain Christmas at Dollywood takes place November 6th – January 3rd with 6 million twinkling lights, shows for the whole family, seasonal treats for all tastes, and more.
