Pigeon Forge is always expanding with exciting attractions and unique things to do for all ages. So if you’re wondering what’s new in Pigeon Forge, then keep reading! We’ve got some fun new places to add to your vacation itinerary! Here’s what’s coming soon to the Smokies:
1. Slick City Action Park
Thrill seekers of all ages will love Slick City Action Park. This huge indoor adventure park has lots of things to do. If you have a need for speed, choose from more than 20 giant slides. They all have their own unique twists and turns, so there is no wrong choice. Try them all!
The attraction also has one-of-a-kind air courts where visitors can play dodgeball or volleyball. They are soft and inflatable, so there is little impact. Slick City Action Park also has a separate play area for little ones as well as an arcade. If you get hungry, they have candy and concessions for sale. Fuel up and get right back to playing.
2. Sweets and Play
Another attraction on the list of what’s new in Pigeon Forge is Sweets and Play. Visitors will love the arcade with lots of fun games! Beat your high score on Pac-Man, SkeeBall, and more! There is also a fun mini golf course. See if you can be the first one in your travel group to get a hole-in-one!
The other part of the name comes from the candy shop. Have your choice of all kinds of treats, such as chocolate and gummies. Stock up on treats to have for later! Sweets and Play will replace Beyond the Lens at 2115 Parkway in Pigeon Forge.
3. Hatfield and McCoy Heritage Center
If you consider yourself a history buff or just love learning about Appalachian culture, then you’ll love exploring the Hatfield and McCoy Heritage Center. The feud between the Hatfield and McCoy families is a unique piece of Appalachian history, and this attraction makes it come alive. There are artifacts and exhibits that are presented by descendants of these two families!
The attraction will also have other fun activities, such as gem mining for kids and moonshine tasting for adults! Before you go, explore the gift shop and get some ice cream! It is located at 322 Wears Valley Road in Pigeon Forge.
4. The Sweet Spot
The Sweet Spot is a unique indoor complex with fun activities. You can pass the time by playing on one of the sports simulators. Try your hand at baseball, golf, and mini golf. No matter how you do, reward yourself after the game with a sweet treat. Get a Chimney Cake Ice Cream Cone. They are made with fresh-baked cinnamon bread, so you get two treats in one! Sweet Spot will replace Memories Theater at 2141 Parkway in Pigeon Forge.
