CAR SHOWS IN THE SMOKIES

The Annual Pigeon Forge Rod Runs

The Pigeon Forge Rod Runs are some of the biggest car shows in Pigeon Forge, featuring thousands of incredible hot rods and muscle cars…and tens of thousands of people lining up to see them! These rod runs have become generational favorites, as they got their start in the Smoky Mountains during the 1970s. The very first “Grand Run” (often referred to as the Pigeon Forge Grand Rod Run) took place in 1983 at the Grand Hotel. In the spring of 2014, these annual car shows were moved to the LeConte Center and renamed the “Pigeon Forge Rod Run” which includes a show in the spring (usually April) and fall (typically September).
