Since summer is here again, you are probably planning on visiting Dollywood’s Splash Country when you come to the Smokies! If you have never been to Dollywood’s water park, you will have a blast! 1. Big Bear Plunge
Big Bear Plunge will make you feel like you’re white water rafting. You’ll ride through dark tunnels and twist and turn like you are on a raft on the river! Before you hit the pool of water at the end, you’ll crash through a wall of water to get completely soaked.
2. Fire Tower Falls
Love the thrill of tall rides that get your heart pumping? You should try Fire Tower Falls . This water slide is the tallest and the fastest in the whole park. The slide is 70 feet tall and creates a free falling feeling. You can race your friends and family on the dual slides for a ton of fun!
3. Downbound Float Trip
If taking it easy is your day of fun at Dollywood’s Splash Country, then you should ride the Downbound Float Trip . This lazy river ride is relaxing since you hang out in a tube and just float with the current. Hold onto your family and friends’ tubes to stick together or just float next to each other. All of you will have fun on the lazy river!
4. Mountain Waves
Everyone in your group will love riding Mountain Waves . This wave pool is fun with or without an inner tube! The pool makes you feel like you’re at the beach without all the sand with the waves and the beach-like entrance. If you don’t want to ride the waves, you can watch everyone else from one of the beach chairs surrounding the pool.
5. Raging River Rapids
Take your whole family on Raging River Rapids for a ton of fun! As many as 5 people will fit in the raft, and you’ll love twisting and turning all the way down the 700-foot slide. All of you will have fun to the end of the ride where you land in a huge pool!
6. TailSpin Racer
Race against your friends and family on TailSpin Racer ! There are 4 slides side by side where you can see who finishes first. You’ll grab a mat and slide all the way down, through a tunnel and then onto the open part of the slide.
7. Wild River Falls
Ride with your family and friends or by yourself on Wild River Falls . These 4 large slides have tunnels and have you twisting and turning all the way down. At the end of two of the slides, you’ll crash through a wall of water before you hit the pool to slow you down!
